kind, compassionate, authentic therapy

for humans, by a human

Hi, I’m Rose!

I’m so glad that you’re here. I’m a Tennessee based, licensed and board-certified mental health therapist specializing in complex PTSD, ethical non-monogamy, and religious/spiritual trauma.

An olive branch is a symbol of extending peace and ending war. A marker of goodwill. A declaration of hope. A promise of tender loving care. These are my hopes for you too.

Therapy for humans, by a human.

Individual Therapy

1-on-1 counseling sessions that offer you space to explore your thoughts, express your feelings, and give you practical tools to use in your everyday life.

Complex Trauma

I help you heal from trauma’s complex impact on your life with a blend of education, talk therapy, body-based trauma modalities, and relational connection.

Virtual Sessions

100% confidential, online video therapy sessions. Easy to work into your schedule, no commute, and you can wear pajamas if you want. It’s a win in my book!

Non-Religious Counseling

Spiritual and religious beliefs are tender and unique to all of us, and often have caused trauma and heartache. I can integrate this at your request, but I do not counsel from any particular religious perspective out of respect for you.

Specialties

I work from an integrative, intersectional, non-religious, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive lens. I am deeply committed to antiracist and LGBTQIA+ inclusive work and advocacy, both professionally and personally. I am a HAES (Health At Every Size) informed human being: ALL people in ALL bodies are welcome in this space. I am neurodivergence affirming and believe in depathologizing our humanity as much as possible.

  • I blend talk therapy, body-based memory reprocessing, and relational connection to help you heal. Learn more

  • I help people navigate faith deconstruction, the impact of purity culture, leaving cults, and creating a new exvangelical community. Learn more

  • While ethical non-monogamy may or may not be the primary thing you’re wanting to work on in therapy, it’s crucial that your therapist is knowledgeable about ENM and affirming of your relationship(s). I am sex positive and kink-friendly, and an advocate for sexual health. Learn more

  • I have extensive experience working with creatives (particularly musicians, photographers, and artists) and understand your unique lifestyle challenges.

“Transformation doesn’t ask that you stop being you. It demands that you find a way back to the authenticity and strength that’s already inside you. You only have to bloom.”
